KZLA worked with a fabricator to build (3) new parklets in the Boston Seaport Neighborhood. Each parklet occupies two parking spaces and is installed seasonally.

KZLA drew inspiration from the local fishing and shipping industry in the Boston Seaport to create parklets inspired by steel shipping containers. The parklet combines communal style seating and interactive swings that will engage users and foster social interaction.

The design carefully considers ease of installation and is being built with modular components that can be easily attached.
