Roosevelt Farm Lane

Trail Design Development

To improve access to the farmstead of former President Franklin D. Roosevelt, KZLA has designed a trail network that follows former farm roads. These trails traverse rugged terrain and are designed to accommodate pedestrians, bicyclists, and an electric tram. Boardwalks and bridge are used to cross streams and wetlands on the property. The project also includes restoration of dry laid stone walls, removal of pavement so large expanses of meadow can be restored, and visitor amenities.
