Flats on D
Rooftop Terrace
Boston's Innovation District is striving to have entrepreneurs live, work, and play along the South Boston Waterfront. New office and laboratory space is being constructed and a diverse mix of housing options are also being developed.
To help provide additional housing as part of the Innovation District, 197 units have been constructed at 411 D Street, immediately across the from Boston Convention Center. The 200,000 square foot development includes ground floor commercial and retail space, with four stories of housing above. KZLA is responsible for the streetscape design, and two roof-top terraces. The terraces were designed to foster social interaction and provide space for active uses.
