The south campus master plan aims to define and reprogram an area of the campus that has largely been considered the “back of house”.  This area has been slated for multiple interventions- Including a Center for Theater and Dance, a Field House renovation, and a complete overhaul of the landscape program to embrace the area as a key cultural and athletic node on campus.

Embracing the proximity of the Squamscott River the project is incorporating best management practices to reduce impact on the watershed while interlacing these concepts into teachable moments to enhance the educational value of this space.
