For the City of Boston, KZLA has designed, fabricated and installed two parklets as part of the Parklet Pilot Program in the Jamaica Plain and Mission Hill neighborhoods. These temporary park spaces interject energy and life to existing business districts fostering community gathering and social interaction. The design inspiration for each parklet was derived from the site context and the community. Components are removable, so they can be disassembled and stored for the winter and then re-assembled.
